Every December, before everyone disappears for the holidays, we throw one last party.
Holiday Hootenanny is for the people who make this city fun, and who somehow end up at the same show anyway. It started with a simple idea from Resound Presents and longtime Austin concert photographer and Todo Records partner Pooneh Ghana: get every corner of Austin’s independent music scene in the same room before the calendar resets.
Combine a diverse and eclectic lineup, a holiday market for your last-minute gifts, festive cocktails, a mechanical reindeer that somehow gets ridden way more than it should, familiar faces around every corner, and enough beautiful weirdness to send the year off properly – and you have one sweet celebration of the season.

When and where is Holiday Hootenanny?
December 11 and 12, 2026 at RADIO/EAST in Austin, Texas.
RADIO/EAST is located at 3504 Montopolis Dr, Austin, TX 78744.
When and where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets are available online HERE!
If they are not sold out, tickets will also be available to purchase at the doors of each day of show.
What are the types of tickets?
All ticket types are available HERE! They include Single Day, Single Day VIP, 2 Day, and 2 Day VIP.
What is included with the VIP ticket?
In addition to access to all programming, VIP ticket holders will receive:
– Expedited entry
– Premium viewing area
– Lounge seating
– Limited edition merch item
– Festival poster
– Complimentary seasonal beverages & holiday treats
I purchased a General Admission ticket but want to upgrade to VIP, is that possible?
Absolutely! Purchase your new VIP ticket and contact us to request a refund of the original General Admission ticket. The full price of the original ticket including all fees will be refunded. To request a refund, submit a request to info@resoundpresents.com.
Can I leave the venue once I enter?
If you are 21+, you will be able to leave the festival venues and return. If you are under 21, you cannot re-enter the venue after you leave. Please visit the venue door staff if you plan to leave and return.
What can I bring and what is prohibited?
What’s ACCEPTABLE: Small purse, camera bags. Please remember, everyone is subject to search and photography policies can vary from artist to artist.
What’s PROHIBITED: NO chairs, music instruments or equipment, alcohol, outside food or drink (including sealed water bottles), weapons, firearms, projectiles including glow sticks, video recording equipment, tripods, audio recording equipment and unauthorized merchandise.
Are there any age restrictions?
This event is ALL AGES!
All attendees must present a valid ID.
Patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parental guardian.
Children 8 years old and under do not require a ticket to attend the festival at RADIO/EAST. Children must be accompanied by a parental guardian at all times. One child per adult.
Is Holiday Hootenanny ADA accessible?
Yes, please email us to advance your needs and we will connect you with the appropriate person at the venue. Although the venue staff will be your first point of contact, the safety and enjoyment of our guests is of great importance to us. Should you have any concerns and feel the need to contact us directly for any reason, please don’t hesitate to do so.
What about safety/medical needs?
If you need medical attention, please alert venue staff or member of security staff to assist you. In the event of an immediate safety concern or medical emergency, please call 9-1-1. A safe environment is a top priority for all of us in the Austin music community.
If you ever have an issue that you feel was not properly addressed or want to voice any concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us, anonymously or otherwise, as we’ll be respectful of your privacy regardless.
What is the pet/service animal policy?
Holiday Hootenanny has a strict no-pet policy, with exceptions only for service animals as specified by federal and state law.
Due to large-scale service animal fraud and for the safety of our patrons, staff, and other service animals, all animals which do not meet the legal standards will not be allowed into the festival grounds. All service animals must be registered at the entrance gates. Please note, dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support are not considered service animals by the ADA and and will not be allowed. For more info, visit ada.gov
